I have all the time in the world yet I believe I do not know how to spend it wisely. I could've finished a million books, catch up on my favorite TV shows, or work out! But no! I spend most of my time playing video games while eating desserts I made (I bake every two days just so I have something to munch on). Now I'm a couch potato and my once oh so perfect abs sadly turned to jello.Oh life! I guess months of pressure and over studying transformed me into a lazy ass cupcake monster! I have to get back to my old lifestyle.

Anyway, I decided to get a break from playing video games today. I baked a batch of Red Velvet cupcakes earlier. I actually tried a recipe where beets are used to naturally color the cupcakes instead of artificial red food coloring. Too much food coloring makes me hyper. And believe me, you wouldn't want to be around me when I'm on hyper mode. Moving on, I was really hoping it would turn out red. Unfortunately, it didn't. The resulting cupcakes were reddish brown in color. However, brown was the dominant color. I call 'em brunette cupcakes. I wish I should've used natural cocoa powder but I do not have one and I'm too lazy to go to the store. Thankfully, my brunette cupcakes tasted great. No one will ever suspect that there's a vegetable in the cupcakes. I topped them off with sour cream frosting. Yum!! I wish I took a picture before everyone ate them. :D
