I AM FAT! From 95 pounds, I'm probably up to 125-130 pounds now. The reason? Well, it's been a year since I've graduated and I lost all motivation to stay in good shape. I am about to open a restaurant and, in doing so, I've just been staying at home, cooking and eating and baking and eating! I just can't stop eating! I used to be very conscious about my physical appearance but, lately, I just didn't give a fuck. Long story short, I gained a lot and I don't feel good about it because I can't fit into 80% of my clothes. I don't want to buy new ones and waste the ones I currently have. It took courage to admit that I've gotten FAT! Sigh, I hate hearing that word. But I have to be honest with myself.
I absolutely don't hate my body, don't get me wrong. I simply believe that I can do better! I want to stay and live healthy. I always want to feel energized, instead of feeling sad and lazy to move around. In order to do this, I must change my diet and exercise!
The purpose of this post is to keep me motivated. I will update my blog after every workout and will probably post progress pics once I get to the non-shameful stage. :D
Anyway, to start my HEALTHY LIFESTYLE, I quit drinking alcoholic drinks. I'm not an alcoholic but I used to drink every weekend with my friends. It's not easy to hold back but I've managed not to drink during sessions with my buddies. Second, I cut back on carbonated drinks. I can't always avoid this because there are just some cases where there aren't any drinks available but softdrinks. I rarely get a taste of this fizzy sugary hell. I increased my water and juice intake, instead. Third, I introduced more vegetables in my diet. I've been eating salad with a little balsamic vinaigrette or roasted sesame dressing I make from scratch. Fourth, I eat very little rice or a piece of bread (which I also make from scratch) each meal. I eat less, basically. Fifth, I'm doing a 30-minute intense workout routine everyday. With hard work and dedication, I'll get fit in no time. Aja! :D
